As a tour operator, Geoturismo Lickanantay, located in Copiapó, Atacama Region, Chile. We publicly declare our commitment to manage sustainable tourism in the driest non-polar desert in the world, thus contributing consciously to its environment in three main axes: Socio-cultural, environmental and economic. That is why we assume our role of change and have drawn up the following commitments as management guidelines in the following areas:

o We are against the exploitation of human beings in any of its forms, especially sexual exploitation and in particular when it affects adolescent boys and girls, for this reason we adhere to the ESCNNA code.
o Respect the communities formed in the territory and especially the members identified as belonging to the original peoples (Diaguitas, Collas and Changos).
o Promote the efficient use of water, energy and minimize the generation of waste
o Participate and manage activities that favor the protection of the environment, for example: recycling campaigns, educational talks, fairs, among other actions.
o Minimize the negative impact of tourism operations on the environment.
o We are responsible for informing, raising awareness, avoiding and denouncing any practice that promotes the illicit trafficking of species of flora and fauna.
o We offer a service as a tour operator based on quality regulations and national sustainability standards.
o We adhere to the 10 principles of fair trade, with special emphasis on respect for the environment, commitment against discrimination and the absence of adolescent boys and girls from work, we seek in our operations to stimulate the circular economy through our suppliers.
o We seek to increase the satisfaction of our passengers in relation to the products and services offered by the company.
o We participate in disclosing this commitment to collaborators, customers and suppliers about the implementation of these buenas prácticas.
